CGI - Special Effects Storyboards
The plot of this special effects piece is about a person playing a guitar in his room and whenever he hits a high note on his electric guitar, a burst of green lightning shoots out of the tip and damages the wall/roof. The character goes from shocked to intriuged and happy. Until in the end, he snaps the string of the guitar which leaves him upset.
Completed BMW Advert
This is the BMW advert as the finished product. The car skidding to one side seemed a b it too "cartoony", so a slow turn and halt was adapted instead, this seemed much better and far more professional. A song from the sound track of the film was implemented into the animation, the speed of the advert and song harmonises with the animation of the sequence which runs together quite smoothly.
BMW Animatic Shot
Within this piece of group work we were to construct an advert for a BMW Series 3 Coupe, based from the film "Inception". It was to be no longer than 20 seconds in duration. My role was the finishing shot of the advert which was the car driving down the folding city scape, just like the film scene. This was my animatic for the scene.
